Okay? Hope everyone can hear me loud and clear. So Pop deal rolled out on Wednesday with the new changes and the new tiers. Now the reality is, is we didn’t think it would go extremely smoothly, and it hasn’t gone that smoothly in the sense that there was always going to be bugs with Popdill as you rolled out such a big change for distribution.
So I guess the first thing is to understand the bugs and to address the bugs that were having with Popdill. Now the majority of the bugs actually have been solved or will be solved by Sunday. So let’s just say that by Sunday, specifically, 90% of all the bugs will be solved.
Now when we talk about bugs, bugs are things like you try to claim the lead and you couldn’t claim it. Two people claimed the lead and somehow that’s even possible. So removing some of this logic, so all these different bugs or you claimed a lead and they got somehow taken back out of your property or backstage.
So all these bugs being looked at. We have a tech team, I think of nine people, developers, looking at this all day. And they’re basically coming up with a final list of this is what all the remaining bugs are and they’re going to go through and get it fixed.
And they’ve given me their word that will have almost everything done by Sunday. Now, when we say almost everything, let’s just say that 95% of all the bugs, that becomes relatively smooth. So that’s the first thing I want to address with the bugs.
That there is a team of nine full time developers are looking at this nonstop. The bugs are being addressed and we’re going to go through and basically work these ones out. Okay, second one is around functionality.
Now there were some unexpected kind of, I guess, issues that have come up with the Pop deal launch. For example, I’ll give you an example. If there are lots of people in one tier, let’s say there’s 20 agents in one tier in an area, that means that, well, one person will have a one in 20 chance of claiming the lead.
Now this isn’t good enough. So we’re going to change some of the logic to make this more fair distribution and equality, okay? That’s important. We want to make sure that everyone gets good lead flow.
So we’re going through this and working on it to understand, okay, well, what’s the maximum parameters? So there is a lot of lessons that we’re coming through this and we’re learning as we go through this process. But the good news is we’re learning quite quickly. So we should have new logic rolling out to make equality of lead distribution good.
Another one is that, for example, if you have maxed out your quota, you probably shouldn’t be receiving notification of new leads. It will probably be driving you crazy that you’ve hit your quota. No more notifications of new leads.
Now, I understand why the development team put this in place. It was that you could see what other leads you’ve missed out on. But there’s a level where this will just get extremely annoying.
So we’re going to make it less notifications, less pop ups to kind of quiet your noise. So, that being said, we’re going to be working through the week in a weekend to fix all the remaining issues. We believe we’ve got good framework to get it done.
Now, there is some stuff you, the agents of the universe, can help us with. Now, I’ll give you some examples, right, and you can all tell me if you exist. What we trying not to do, what we didn’t envisage, is that Pop deal would become this place where a lead pops up and you just click a button and you grab a lead.
Without looking at this, I’ll give an example. I see a lot of people claiming leads that potentially are Thai or that don’t speak Thai. Now, yes, the system should know if they are Thai.
And the way we do this, if they go onto a Thai language and they inquire, it comes through in Thai. But if a Thai person inquires on English site, then the system finds it hard to understand if they’re Thai or English. So in this example, if you see a Thai name pop up on your yeah, I’ll make this up.
Let’s just say I’m thinking of a Thai name. I’m talking my CTO Prapon Chachua. If propon Chachua pops up on my screen and it looks very, very Thai, and you claim it and say, look, I claimed a lead and they don’t speak in English, in my opinion, you shouldn’t be claiming that lead.
So there’s a level of, we will fix all the bugs, but there’s a level of the agents have to be extremely rational. And looking at this, don’t go into a claiming frenzy where the first one who claims you’re desperately just trying to pick off leads very much look at the lead flow you’re trying to claim. Use some rationale techniques, right? Is this a lead I want? That should always be the question, is this a lead I want? And the only way to describe it, if anyone knows in the UK, there’s a new drink called prime that’s come up by Logan Paul, and prime drinks are everywhere and the drinks are all over the shelf and everyone is literally there’s a frenzy of taking the drinks.
So every time you go to a supermarket, there’s no drinks left. Eventually this will stop and people will become more sensible in their personal decisions. And I’m hoping this will come to the same with Pop deal where a lot of you, the agents, will effectively be looking at the leads and being like, is this a lead I want versus I’m just going to click and try and grab it.
I don’t think that’s good, that’s the best or smartest way to kind of be doing things. But that being said, we will put in a load of safety precautions to make sure that the chances are that you cannot grab a foreign lead if you don’t speak the language. So we’re making some changes to the websites that’s Fazwas and all the property network sites to ensure questions.
For example, what is your primary language you speak? We’re going to be asking them this question again as like a double opt in to make sure that we can distribute the leads correctly. So this is going to be a very quick conversation today. So the main points of today’s topic is that we have heard all your bugs problems.
And, yes, there are a lot, and there is a level of there could have been more testing that happened on our side, and there should have been okay. We tried to roll out the product very quickly, and it’s definitely a lesson learned. Everything will be fixed by Sunday.
That’s our deadline to get everything fixed. Once that happens, we will try and increase lead flow. So the first thing is to get all the bugs fixed and the next bit is to flood the system with as much leads as you can so you have as much choice as you can.
And then all I need in responses is that if there is certain things where that can be avoided, try and avoid them. Try and use as much common sense in the claim as you can. Remember that we’re looking at ratios which we know that for every region we need two leads per person to be distributed.
So I’m working with the Life of Connect team, the company that owns Fazwas, to understand lead flow and lead distribution to make sure that there is as much leads running through the system as possible. So it’s definitely an interesting period with the rollout. So it’s been a bit tricky.
But just be patient with us. By Sunday all the bugs will be fixed and the next week we’ll be focusing on increasing lead throw through all our sources of marketing and hopefully it should be a happy ending. So if there is any problems you have, specifically make sure in your bugs that you actually put as much information down as you can.
Okay? And I’m more than happy for you to drop me an email with any thoughts you have as long as it’s concrete on Pop deal. So as long as you can send me a structured email. Look, this is where I think some things have changed.
I’m happy to read feedback, definitely, so ping through some stuff and send it to myself or any bugs. Just make sure you report them specifically in kind of a structured way so they can understand what the bug is. If you say, for example, oh, my pop deal doesn’t work, no one really knows what you’re talking about.
So just take a screenshot and be this is where it went wrong, and just try and work with the team to get it through. And they will fix everything, I promise you that. So have a great midweek and I will speak to you.
There is a call at 02:00 P.m., the Agents of Worlds to join. It’s optional, so I’ll send you guys an invite if you want to join.
