So the idea is basically to have a look at the phone format, and if it’s not available if it’s not, how can I say that if it’s not valid, to try to find a solution? All right, I got an example that I can show you later on. It’s just because, for example, when a client comes in the website and is in Thailand, the website will give the plus 66 number by default. All right? If I open the website here, if I open the website, you can see that if I write an inquiry on whatever property request details, this is my phone number, which is weird, but this is my phone number here and it’s already plus six six, right? Now, if I would write my Swiss phone number, well, it will have the plus six six in front, right? But you don’t know that that one is a Swiss one.
So some people don’t see the flag and just send us inquiries with wrong phone numbers. So what you can do if you know a bit of the phone formats I just took an example here with USA. USA always start with a five.
I mean, always, let’s not make some assumptions. But, yeah, it starts like this. So if you see a strange phone number coming as plus 6655 and then whatever, it’s probably wrong.
It’s not a Thai number, all right? So keep that in mind and just use plus one for America. Now, I had another example with UK, england and Russia. We have a lot of inquiries from the UK and from Russia.
And here you can see the phone format on Pop deal. So you have it on the left. If I delete that and I write plus one shows me America, then five, five, five, whatever, it shows me the format, all right? So you can play with it.
If a phone number comes like this, plus 6671-2345, whatever, this first number here is mostly to be UK, all right? Now, a quick tip, a quick thing you can look at as well is simply the email. Of course, this is a test account, so it’s our staff email. But if you see, I don’t know Jamie at Fazwas co UK, clearly it’s a UK email, it’s possible to have a plus six six.
But if it’s six six seven and then the number, it may be a plus four four. All right, so make sure you pay attention to this. You just change it to plus four four.
You try to call on Air Call or via the app and should be all right, by the way. Just want to show you guys, not sure if you see it now you don’t see it. 1 second.
Stop sharing. Share again the entire screen. Yes, normally you should be I’m just checking.
Yeah, you can see Air Call here, so you can call through the app. All right. And you can call through air.
Call. When you write here, plus one, change the flag, right? And then if you use this phone number, it should give you the format up here should give you the format if you are not sure about that, plus four six. For example, for Sweden, they have a weird format, but you can use this and you can use Google to help you with the phone numbers.
All right, this is a very basic one, a very easy one. I think mostly is going to be UK and Russia. Russia starts with plus seven or plus eight.
And again, you can use here, if I write Russian phone format, you can hear here, they start with five, six or seven digits and it’s plus seven. Right. So have a look at that.
I don’t know, bruce, one SEC. Have a look at that. Sometimes it can help you with the contact details.
Now, feel free to ask support as well if there is a wrong phone number or whatever. And make sure you update here. You can write, I don’t know, wrong phone number or format.
Just save that note here and we know it’s wrong and we can help you with that. We can help you with that in the future. All right? So I just want to show you something more regarding the email here and regarding the phone number.
All right, and this is based on a real case. Just let me if I pull this, yes, you are seeing this. So this is the information, the details that I received.
And that’s a real case, by the way. So it came as user country Australia English speaker, fine. And the phone number came as a plus 66 because the client is, I guess, in Thailand.
So it came as a plus six six. So what I did, I just changed the country code from plus six six to plus six one, and I’ve been able to call the client. All right, so keep that in mind.
Check user country that you can see here, user country. Does it match the phone number? Does it match the email? Right. Australia have also a different email format, so you can spot that they have Au, I believe so, yeah, keep that in mind and that will help you if you have some problems.
Also what you can do is try to add people on WhatsApp and see if basically the profile picture matches. All right, so if it’s in this case, plus 66 and I add the phone number and your name is Ali, right. If I see, I don’t know, a girl picture, it could be right, but it’s unlikely.
If I use plus 61 with the same phone number and the WhatsApp is like, I don’t know, Middle East guy looking, that could potentially be called Ali, then it’s probably the correct phone number. So, yeah, keep that in mind to help you with that type of stuff, that type of quick hacks for the phone number. You can use Google again, you can use here, you can just type whatever.
Germany. Let’s call it Germany. Plus four nine, plus the area code, plus the phone number.
There you are. Yeah. I think that’s all I wanted to share with you today.
Be careful with the phone numbers, the emails and the user country. These are some quick things that you can have here and that you can use just in case you cannot contact the client. Now, please, like I said yesterday in the group, try calling from the app.
The Twilio account should be fixed and should be all right. Keep in mind that there is a connection time. I think it’s four to 7 seconds, something like that.
So if you don’t have a tone, a ringing tone, a couple of seconds at the beginning of your phone call, please be patient and if you proceed to call via the application, it will be just like Air call. You will have a call activity here made from Poptio that will count as well as updating the client. So please keep that in mind.
Try using the call app on the call function sorry, on the app. And yeah, thank you for today. I’ll be probably giving you some other tips in the next couple of days or weeks.
