Thank you. So yesterday we spoke about effectively how to write good emails utilizing chat GPT. So today I’m going to basically walk you through roughly some core things you probably need to do to utilize email.
And then the next part would be one super hack that you can utilize to really get more effective communication response from your email. Okay, so we’re going to go straight into this. Let me just share my screen.
Now, I’m just picking on a few people that sent me emails yesterday. Now, for everyone, it’s so important when you get emails in general when you’re speaking to people, that you don’t have this issue here where you have effectively no picture, right? Because you don’t really know who you’re speaking to. It’s very robotic.
So just a basic for everyone. Firstly, because I know most people have it on, but a lot of people don’t. I’m not picking on Jason because he’s sent here, but here we’ve got people sending me.
It’s very personal. Add your picture 100% to your Gmail and I’ll give you instructions on how to do this. Super important because usually I don’t respond to many people if they’re coming randomly outside the company.
And it’s not personal because I don’t really know who I’m talking to. So get a picture on there, make it of you, not of something else. I’ve seen other pictures which are not them or just a picture of a frog.
So just add a picture to your super, super important. The next thing is make sure that everyone has a good footer, right? This is an example of people that are sending me emails from the team that have different footers. Now we actually have a standardized footer in FazWaz that you can utilize.
I mean, see, for example, Josh, he’s using an old mean. Technically you want to really take brand value from this. I mean, you want to give them all the recognizable brands that we have.
For example, if you’ve got an email from someone at Facebook, you’ll see the Meta icon there and you know, probably you’re talking to someone important. So basically, make sure you implement your footer and you just think about it. We have FazWaz.
We have Dot property and Thailand property. These are really big names, so make them clear. People want to know who they’re talking to.
So we just start off with two very standard things. So just to repeat on these two, everyone get a picture. Super important.
Everyone have a good footer. And if you want to, you can actually link to your region. So if you’re on Pukette sales link to your Pukette sales page, if you’re in Patia rentals, link to the patio rentals page.
But have something visible where they can click make the footer. So every email you send, it’s got a standardized footer. It could be creative as well.
You could be for the top ten properties in Patia, click here. So every email you’re basically reengaging them to you and bringing them back to the platform and also showing that you add more value. Okay, so that was quickly like the highlights in terms of what can we do just to make this better.
Now we’re going to talk about the super hack. Now I understand why people use apps like WhatsApp Lion and other apps. And the honest truth is I was thinking about it.
Why do people use it? Yes, it’s easy, but also you get read receipts. So when you send a message on WhatsApp app, you effectively can see if the other person’s read it. Usually, yeah, you know it’s been delivered and you know it’s read where with emails you can’t currently you can’t.
So basically I’m going to quickly show you how you can check who’s read your emails and when they’ve read your emails. Now think about the use case for this one. You spend a long time writing an email and you don’t even know if they’re going to read it right? And you don’t even know if the client has read it, or you don’t know when they’ve read it and they might have read it and not responding.
So you really want to find out if they’ve read it. Now, I can do this in way where they will never know that you know that they’ve read your email. You can’t just see as well if they’ve read your email, you can see if they’ve actually clicked on the links that you’ve actually sent them.
So if you’re sending them property recommendations, you can click and check. So I’m going to show you how to do this very quickly and it’s really easy. Okay, so the first thing we want to do is we want to go to a site called Maltrak.
It’s maltrak IO. I will send you the link afterwards in a summary of what we’re talking about here. Now there’s three options.
You have the free option, the Pro option, you don’t need the advanced option. So the question really is that for $3 a month, do you really want to see what emails you’re sending and who’s tracking? But for zero you can do it. But the only problem with zero is it adds a logo at the bottom of your page.
Okay? But for $2 you can basically remove any version of they can see if you’re actually tracking the page or not. So I’ll show you effectively how it works and what it looks like. I just signed up to the free trial, why not? But if you want to sign up to the Pro trial, hopefully we’ll push the sales team same, maybe we give the Pro trial to everyone for free.
But if not, I recommend 100% sign up to the free subscription. I recommend people upgrading to Pro because you don’t really want people to see that you’re tracking their emails. But let me show you how it works.
Okay, very quickly. So I’ve installed it. It’s really easy to install.
You basically just connect it to your google and I won’t walk through with you. But it’s very easy. It’s like one click connect to google and it’s on there.
So I’m going to write an email and you can see here I’m on the free trial, so this is what it is, right? So I’m going to send an email to Paulie, who’s actually, funny enough, sat next to me. I’m just going to pretend email, right, wherever it, hi Paulie, hi Paulie, blah, blah, blah. Okay, now I’m going to send this to Paulie, and what’s going to happen is I’ll tell when Paulie’s going to open it.
So he’s not going to open it yet. Now as soon as Paulie opens and reads my email, it will send me a notification saying paulie has read your email effectively. And there’s another way I can show you a dashboard to see how you can track this as well.
So Paulie, do you have the email? Okay, so Paulie is still waiting for the email to come, so let’s just see when he gets it. It takes about, probably 20 seconds to receive the email. I think you should be getting it about now, is that correct? Obviously our email server is a little bit slower than we thought, but while we’re going on, I’ll show you.
Okay, so Paul is going to read the email now, okay, so Paulie’s just opened the email on his computer and he’s reading the email. Now. You can have different ways to track emails.
You can either have push notifications on your desktop, which I have, but I also have a dashboard, and I can show you this here. So I’m going to refresh the dashboard, and this is the pretend email, and you can see the time it was sent and the time it was open. So he actually opened it straight away.
So that’s email, you can see it was sent, see it was open, so he’s opened the email. If you had links in there, you can even track if they’re clicking on your links. Okay, so think about it like this, you spend all the time putting out an offer or recommendations to a client and a lot of the time they go not responded.
The question is, number one, did they get the email? Fine, we know they got the email. Number two is, did they read the email? Think about that one, and when did they read the email? Because if they’re opening the email, as soon as they do, you know, they’re reading your content and they’re engaging with you, maybe it’s best to give them a call straight afterwards and be like, hey, I know you’ve actually opened my email and read it. Maybe don’t say that, but you can probably work this into your sales page to say that you know, they’re actually reading your email and they’ve clicked the links.
And you also know how many times. It will tell you here how many times they’re opening your emails. Okay? Now this service with MailTrack is totally free, but obviously you get on the free version, you end up with this, which is this whole pixel.
If you pay 299, you don’t even have that. So there’s nothing that says anything about Mail Track. So Paulie, can you just open up the email again? Is that okay? So Paulie’s going to go back and open up the email again, and I’m basically going to refresh this and you can see that he’s opened it two times.
Okay, so think about it. You send an email to a client and you spend a long time putting recommendations. If they’re serious, they’ll probably go back and read it, show their wife, show their husband, have a little think about it.
So you can basically gauge how serious people are. So I don’t want to talk too long because I have an event downstairs. So what we spoke about today, to summarize, is, number one, everyone add a picture to your profile, right? Make it personable.
The second, everyone create a great footer, a really great one. Make sure it’s up to date, make sure it adds value. I mean, you don’t need to put follow on Facebook, follow on LinkedIn, don’t worry about this stuff.
Try and take them to where you want. Really, if you’re in a sales position or a rental position, you want them to go back to the properties. So maybe include that in the footer.
The third one, which is the hack, is to install Maltrack IO. I will send you all the links in the email, add it to your email account and track effectively who’s reading your emails and when. And now as soon as someone read your emails, you know they’ve read them, you know how many times they’ve read them, you know what they’ve clicked and you can follow up and make this more effective.
So that is my top tip on relation to how to utilize email to basically track and analyze what your clients are reading and get re receipts for 100% free. So that’s kind of the end of this session. It’s going to be a very quick one today, but thank you very much everyone, for joining and have a great day and I look forward to people adding this to their system.
So thanks everyone. Thank you. Thank.
